It’s that busy time of year again as all of us here at IDO are hustling to get projects completed by the 2017 End Of Year deadline. As my family and I are prepping for Thanksgiving, I was wondering what the latest and greatest Holiday Design trends would be for this year. We almost always put up our Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving. I have done the red, white, and silver scheme, and the turquoise/peacock blue, and purple trend that was popular a few years ago. Now our tree is filled with those precious handmade ornaments from our little one and so doing a fancy themed tree has been difficult the past few years. I do love our collection of random ornaments that we all love and we choose a new special one every year. Of course, my daughter sometimes gets more than one ornament, but she does have her very own Christmas tree, which is filled with princess and ballerina ornaments two of her favorites.
After doing some research on Pinterest and online I discovered that the new Christmas Design trends for 2017 are quite a range of styles and colors. I am still partial to the traditional red and green Christmas colors with touches of white and silver. I do love bold colors like the rich blue and gold on the Elle Décor’s “25 Spectacular Christmas Tree Ideas That Are Over The Top (In The Best Way),” check them out here. The newest trend I’ve been seeing lately is a gorgeous white Christmas tree with pale pinks and dusty blue. I’m also loving the blue and silver trees. It reminds me of the song “Silver Bells.” If you are looking for simple, check out the Ombre Tree for a fun look. Rustic trend is still popular as well.
