Design Associate

IDO Incorporated is seeking an enthusiastic and highly self-motivated Interior Design Associates to join our talented, close-knit team. We are a leading regional provider of commercial interior design services and facility support solutions for a plethora of businesses, corporations, and organizations in our community. This Interior Design Associate will be responsible for devising and/or working on a rotation of projects of varying lengths, meeting with clients regularly for updates and collaboration, and coordinating the pertinent teams for successful project completion. The right candidate will have a degree in interior design, a minimum of one year of commercial interior design experience, and required proficiency in data modeling software. We synthesize elemental design principles with data gathering, analysis and a research-driven understanding. We have built our business on the innovative functionality of our designs and we immerse ourselves with clients by working extensively to ensure the customization of their needs.

At IDO Incorporated, you will join a collaborative team dedicated to innovative solutions and design excellence. IDO Incorporated is currently seeking a part-time intern for summer of 2018.


  1. Administrative Duties
  2. Answer phones/ take messages as needed;
  3. Update Client/Rep dbase on a weekly basis;
  4. Copying & collating of information, as needed by associates
  5. Simple Errands/ Operational assistance
  6. Timeslips- Complete your time at the end of each work day.
  7. Manage Resource Library
  8. You will meet with Reps as they are scheduled. Appointments will be put on your Outlook calendar.  Meetings with Reps will be scheduled on set days, to be determined. Take notes and ask detailed questions about new products.  If new literature is left, ask that something be taken out to make room for the new items.
  9. Maintain product literature of resources by filing new mailings and information supplied by reps.on a daily basis.
  10. Continue to build internet product library
  11. Organize library and keep resources purged of dated material;
  12. Keep all associates informed about new projects and literature that has arrived.
  13. Use monthly associate meetings as a format to present this information.

  15. Support Social Networking Media
  16. Create Facebook posts to IDO’s Facebook page.
  17. Tweet to IDO’s Twitter account.
  18. Maintain blog feedback.
  19. Maintain website analytics.
  20. Support to designated projects
  21. Support the On-Site Lilly Team as needed to Inventory lab equipment.
  22. Support all associates as needed on various projects (i.e. ordering samples, tracking orders, product research, etc.)
  23. Light production work in AutoCAD, Revit and 3-D modeling
  24. Maintain responsibility for all other projects assigned.
