#INthistogether
How do we hold on to who we are, given where we are right now? We know we all must continue doing business in some way – it’s the only way we can support the people whose work makes our organizations possible. But the current impact on our community and our clients means anything but business as usual.
While we have taken significant steps in our workplace to engage in social distancing, we also ask you to take continue to take steps in your personal lives.
Our State and Local government and a coalition of other private and public organizations have launched the www.INthistogethercampaign.com to help Indiana rise to the challenge and flatten the curve.
Their message is that “data shows that through good social distancing practices, we can flatten the curve to reduce the number of infections, hospitalizations and deaths. And by doing our part now, we can help our communities return more quickly to normal social interactions and business operations.”
“Here’s what we must do.
- Stay home, unless you need to go out for essential activities and jobs.
- Ensure physical distance. Remember to avoid close contact, wash your hands frequently, avoid touching your face, sanitize frequently, cough or sneeze into elbow, and stay home if you’re sick.
- Take care of yourself. That includes your physical health and mental well-being. Be sure to stay connected socially by using technology, exercise, eat well, get good sleep and have fun.
- Support our communities. Look for creative ways to virtually give back to your community. Call an elderly neighbor, offer virtual tutoring, donate to a community fund.
We don’t know exactly how long we’ll need to keep up social distancing. But we do know that if we act now, we can save lives and more quickly return to our daily, interconnected lives.”
As we move into a new decade and confront a worldwide health crisis, we are all working together, while working apart. We remain poised to continue our journey at the forefront of interior design with a mission dedicated to Transforming Design in creative and innovative ways and support the lifesaving critical work our clients are doing right now as we are all #INthistogether.
Our best for your well being: the IDO Team
