By: Rhonda Wessel I am enjoying the colors of fall as October is quickly flying by. It really doesn’t seem like 2014 will soon be coming to an end. As I look around the Halloween decorations are up, I realize Thanksgiving and Christmas are not too far away. Christmas is only 57 days away! Are you panicking yet like I am? Two months and I have LOTS to do! Like most people I’m sure. Time to get family photos taken for Christmas cards, slowly start buying and/or making Christmas presents, and not to mention planning all the goodies I want to make for Thanksgiving and Christmas, and also getting the house cleaned up. Throw in a couple of office parties and family get-togethers throughout the season. It’s an overwhelming thought. Christmas is my favorite holiday and I am looking forward to it, but not sure that I am ready for it this year. It has been a very busy year and I have been truly blessed and thankful for everything I have. I have to remind myself of the reason we celebrate Christmas, and not get caught up in the commercialization of it all. As we all get busy working on projects and head into this busy time of year, let’s not forget the reason for the upcoming Christmas season, and take a moment to reflect on what we all have accomplished this past year. Enjoy the Holidays!
