By: Jill Mendoza It’s no small thing to run a small business, so in honor of Small Business Week the week of May 12th, NAWBO The National Association of Women Business Owners, held a video contest that called for women small business owners to submit 2-minute or less videos highlighting the “one thing that’s contributed most to your success as a small business.” Being members of NAWBO Indy, the largest NAWBO Chapter in the country, we are proud to report that our video was selected as one of the Top 5 finalist in this national competition! So what is “IDO’s One Thing”? It’s family. Running a small business can be challenging at times and the one thing that keeps us most focused is our families. Fame and fortune are not the drivers. It’s so much more than that! Our business, like thousands of other small businesses, is a “family of families”. We are not unique in what we have produced the last 22 years. Small Business in America really COUNTS….that’s no small thing!” Select image above to view our “No Small Thing” Video.
