After graduating from Ball State University with a Master Degree in Interior Design, Emily joined the IDO Incorporated team initially as an Interior Design Intern and moved into the role of Associate Designer. Her story is an interesting one, in that she began her career in Early Childhood Education and made the shift to Interior Design after realizing that her true passion was creating spaces for people that are practical, beautiful, and provide for the overall health of a person.
At IDO, Emily is involved in workspace planning and design, move-management of both life sciences and government facilities, and furniture specifications in healthcare and office projects. Emily has recently obtained her WELL AP certification and wants to continue to expand her knowledge and expertise in the field by taking the NCIDQ to become a Registered Interior Designer (RID).
Outside of the office, Emily enjoys traveling (especially to Disney World), exploring Indy’s eateries, bike riding, and spoiling her two cats.
