Kara graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design along with a Minor in Anthropology in 2019. After graduation, she came to IDO as an Intern to receive mentorship from the team and learning the ropes of Interior Design. A few months later, she joined the team full time.
Kara is beginning her studies for the NCIDQ certification and eventually looks forward to furthering her education in Historic Preservation. Her trips abroad have inspired her from the beauty of the unique designs and cultures throughout history. Preserving these buildings enables the next generation of designers to be inspired by the Great Masters of Design.
In her free time, Kara enjoys playing with her puppy, going on adventures with her husband, watching movies, and drawing.
