Greencastle, IN

Ivy Tech Community College – Wabash Valley retained InterDesign (now K2M Architects) to develop a new facility in response to an increase in enrollment and strong demand for expanded educational programs. Completed in August 2009, the new 35,000 square-foot facility is a high-technology face for this new workforce development center allowing Ivy Tech to enhance its leadership position in the educational industry.

IDO Incorporated’s scope of work for this $8.7M budget included the interior design responsibilities and selection of all the finish materials, millwork design and specifications, and furniture, with products that are environmentally conscious. The project team is also pursuing a LEED certification (Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design) for the building.
