Ivy Tech Community College – Wabash Valley retained InterDesign (now K2M Architects), a multi-disciplinary architectural and engineering firm, to develop a new facility in response to an increase in enrollment and strong demand for expanded educational programs. The new facility is a high-technology face for this new workforce development center allowing Ivy Tech to enhance its leadership position in the educational industry.

IDO’s scope of work included the interior design responsibilities and selection of all the finish materials, millwork design and specifications and furniture, with products that are environmentally conscious. The project team is also pursuing a LEED certification (Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design) for the building.
